Wedding invite for our friends David + Erin. Erin wanted something a little different so we decided on the flat illustration style and foldout display. Each panel tells a brief part of their story with scenes from around Annapolis and the interior has a perforated, self-mailing, RSVP panel to make it easier for guests to respond.

This sales kit for L’Academie de Cuisine featured a custom dieline that followed the chest of the chef’s coat for the opening cover. A multi-paged informational booklet was also designed and saddle stitched to the inside with an area for loose papers and business cards.

A bit edgy and a little naughty. When the goal is to grab attention inside of Las Vegas bars you have to do something to get noticed. The purpose with this project from Virgen Advertising was to use public funding to help spread the message of reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS. We even won a few awards with it.

Used as The Turtle’s menu system for 2008. Focused on texture, sports and the idea of making this not only a menu, but a collage of everything The Turtle has to offer. Also included were a series of monthly promotional inserts.

A whimsical direct mail piece for Live Arts Maryland annual fund raising gala. This was also spun off to the web and for event materials such as table toppers and signage.

These two direct mail pieces are two of our earliest and favorites. We're still geeks for traditional printing with a love for the nuances of creating and testing custom die lines, PMS inks, and press checks. These pieces served as self-promotional, direct mail materials for Virgen Advertising and were then turned into billboards along the interstate in Vegas.

These materials for Nevada State High School were used in a wide variety of ways. The main collateral consisted of direct mailings and brochures which were used to target potential students. Some of these designs were then spun off into the design of their website.

Project done with Virgen Advertising for their non-profit client AFAN. These materials included direct mail, posters, brochures and buttons and were used to help promote a large fundraising event/wild party held at The Palms.

These projects were completed while contracted through ER Creative. The direct mail pieces were used to promote a new shopping district and a burlesque show in Vegas. Both incorporated some heavy photo manipulation and custom dielines to create interesting opening effects on both pieces.

Contract work with PLAYER for several issues. Publishing can be very up and down, the issues we were a part of were a blast. We helped manage photo shoots, concepted content, performed typography work, page layout, webdesign, and did a good deal of begging and borrowing for products. Also got to work with some cool folks, met some famous people, and even sat on Elvis’ bed.
